Coco-Nutty Bliss Balls

Coco-nutty Bliss Balls – Nibbles of nutrition free of refined sugar and fun to make with kids. Cashew and pistachio nuts are packed with antioxidants and minerals, and have prebiotic properties which fuel gut health. The tropical flavours of cashew and coconut pair well with the fragrant notes of DIGESTIVE JADES.

INGREDIENTS

  • BOTANISTRY DIGESTIVE JADES, 4 teaspoons
  • Cashew nuts, 1 cup
  • Pistachios, ½ cup
  • Shredded / desiccated coconut, 1 cup
  • Dates, pitted, ½ cup (soften in hot water if very dry)
  • Lemon juice, 2 tablespoons
  • Coconut oil, 4 tablespoons
  • Honey or maple syrup, 2 tablespoons

METHOD

  1. Add all the ingredients, including the DIGESTIVE JADES, into a blender or food processor. Pulse until the ingredients are completely combined. Do not overprocess as they should have some texture.
  2. Scoop out the mixture and roll into balls.
  3. Place in the fridge or freezer for 30 minutes to set, and then snack away!

  • The bliss balls can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days or a couple of months in the freezer.
